Wild Wisdom: Nurturing Growth through Horses and Nature

Flexible Equine Assisted Learning Sessions for Home-Educated Teens (Ages 12–16)

Step into an empowering experience that helps teens develop leadership, confidence, and emotional resilience—through the powerful connection with horses and the natural world.

Wild Wisdom sessions are designed specifically for home-educated young people aged 12–16. Sessions can be booked individually or as a series, allowing flexibility to suit your young person’s needs. Multiple bookings are available at a discounted rate and offer the opportunity for deeper learning and connection over time.

By combining equine-assisted learning with outdoor challenges, each session provides a unique space to build life skills, deepen self-awareness, and form meaningful connections with others in an inspiring and supportive setting.

Whether booked as a one-off experience or as part of an ongoing journey, these sessions engage teens in hands-on activities that cultivate leadership, improve communication, and support emotional growth. From leading a horse through an obstacle course to working together in nature-based challenges, participants are encouraged to push their limits, think critically, and embrace their personal development.

With the horses acting as intuitive partners, these sessions help young people build trust, regulate emotions, and grow in confidence—all while strengthening their connection to themselves, others, and the natural world.

What to Expect in Each Session:

  • Equine-assisted learning (no riding—focus on communication and leadership)

  • Outdoor team-building challenges and exercises

  • Decision-making, problem-solving, and creative activities

  • Self-awareness, emotional literacy, and confidence-building

  • Mindfulness techniques for stress management and resilience

  • Opportunities for self-expression through creative exercises

Each session offers a unique opportunity for personal growth, social development, and emotional insight—while learning in the company of horses and like-minded peers.

What Parents Are Saying

“Our son has gained so much from his sessions. He struggles with social anxiety, but Serendipity gave him the space and confidence to connect with others in a non-pressured environment. The way the facilitators work with the horses and the team activities has helped him open up and work on his communication skills. He’s more confident, more self-aware, and looks forward to each session.”
— Sarah, parent of 14-year-old

“Serendipity has been transformative for our daughter. She has always loved animals, but working with the horses has given her a deeper understanding of trust and leadership. She’s learned to take initiative, set boundaries, and communicate more clearly with others. It’s not just about horses—it’s about life skills, and we couldn’t be happier with the growth we’ve seen in her.”
— Tom, parent of 13-year-old
