About Serendipity
🌿 Connection, Calm & Confidence
At Serendipity, we believe in the quiet strength of connection—between people, animals, and the natural world. We offer supportive, nature-based experiences that help individuals build confidence, rediscover calm, and explore their inner resources in a way that feels safe, empowering, and authentic.
🫶 Our Approach
We bring together equine-assisted learning, mindfulness, creativity, and meaningful, hands-on experiences. Sessions are learner-led and relational, grounded in kindness, curiosity, and respect for each person’s pace and preferences. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, care-experienced backgrounds, or simply feeling disconnected, we meet them where they are—with open minds and calm, consistent presence.
🎓 Training and Experience
Our work is informed by a broad and evolving skillset, including:
-
EAQ Level 4 Facilitator (Equine Assisted Learning)
-

-
Freedom Programme Facilitator (supporting individuals impacted by domestic abuse)
-

-
British Horse Society
We also have experience working with children and adults who are neurodivergent, care-experienced (fostered/adopted), exploring gender identity, or living with learning disabilities. Our sessions are shaped around each individual, with emotional safety and respect at their heart.
🛡️ Safety, Ethics & Professional Standards
We hold enhanced DBS checks, first aid certification, and full insurance for quine Assisted Learning. Our safeguarding and child protection policies are up to date and available on request or via our referral process.
Although Serendipity is a non-riding environment, we draw on a foundation of equine safety and welfare, including BHS training.
We’re also committed to ongoing CPD—learning from a range of ethical, welfare-focused equine/animal professionals and others in our industry to continually improve and evolve our practice.
🌱 Rooted in Nature, Guided by Values
We see ourselves as part of nature—not separate from it. That belief shapes everything we do, from how we care for our animals to how we welcome others into this space. Sustainability, low-impact living, and connection to the seasons are woven into daily life here. Whether it's quiet time with the herd, a creative project, or a mindful walk, each session offers a chance to reconnect—with self, with others, and with the living world around us.
